I don't completely agree here. A lot of that wealth is tied up i buildings and facilities. I used to be on our church board. We have a very nice semi expensive building thanks to the donations and hard work of our parishioners. But rich we are not. If I want to give my money to support my church, that's my business.

Yes we pay a percentage to our diocese. So? They gotta eat too. I feel more comfortable giving my money to a place that has some institutional integrity than to some TV preacher. The point is, we support the institution because we believe in it and we want to pass it down to our children.

 

Now, if the Catholic church has been infiltrated by satanists and is completely gone off the rails, by all means get rid of those people. But the vast majority of people involved in churches and their motivations are totally white hat.

Exactly. Most people involved with churches are good people and have good motivations. That doesn't mean the Catholic Church hasn't been taken over by Marxists and that these Marxists shouldn't be dealt with. But the fact that the church has money doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I want it to be financially stable. A grand institution like the Catholic churches should not have to be begging for their existence.
