When I was getting sober, I would listen to CDs of AA speakers. One guy, Serenity Sam, talked about people moving to Florida to get away from their problems. He said, "There should be a sign at the border that reads 'Welcome to Florida: This state doesn't work, either.'"
Point is, Florida is a dumping ground for other states' trash. But everyone who flees to there, brings their shit with them. See: Spring Break.
That aside, Florida is awesome. I'd return in a heartbeat.
