This year's flu season is shaping up to be possibly less severe than the 2017-2018 season, when 61,000 deaths were linked to the virus. However, it could equal or surpass the 2018-2019 season's 34,200 flu-related deaths.

Overall, the CDC estimates that 12,000 and 61,000 deaths annually since 2010 can be blamed on the flu. Globally, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that the flu kills 290,000 to 650,000 people per year.

County was shut down because of it. But if he didn't I'm sure they would've called him a murdererโ€ฆ Even though they still do that.

Also, I'm sure the governors would've shut down with or without him, making him look weak if he didn't shut down first.

I'm sure the economic decline eats POTUS up more than us. He was proud of the economy, and rightfully so. But yeah, would love to know his reasoning behind letting it go this far too. Must be tied into those millions of deaths he said would've happened if he hadn't done what he had done.
