I attended Hampden-Sydney College, where I had the privilege of taking a few courses taught by the world famous General William Boykin.

For those unfamiliar, Boykin became famous in the wake of 9/11, when he was the first person to publicly declare (on Fox News) that the war in the Middle East was n ideological Holy War between Christians and Muslims. (He was destroyed by the left for saying this.)

But more importantly, Boykin served on Delta Force, and was not only involved in both the 1980 Iranian Hostage situation, as well as the Blackhawk Down event, but he also led the team that assassinated Pablo Escobar. He is without a doubt the biggest badass I will ever meet.

In our class, Boykin told us that an Al-Qeada assassin had once been captured trying to enter the US, when Boykin was serving on President Bush’s cabinet. The assassin carried with him a list of 10 names. According to Boykin, VP Cheney was #1. Boykin was #2.

He also once yelled—during a passionate rant— “Do you understand, boys?? THERE ARE TERRORISTS LIVING IN MICHIGAN!!!” and left it at that.

Nobody knew what the hell he was talking about.

Now we do.
