This a sign of total desperation. Usually the powers that be avoid any mention of Unz because they don't want anyone going there since actually reading stuff there will break the narrative. The level of discourse is far higher than an outsider would expect, given that many of the topics discussed are quite outside the range of official public opinion. The site isn't even mentioned when it figures indirectly in news articles.
