Age 59. I have had the flu, or at least I think it was the flu, probably 5-6 times in the last ten years, twice within last six months. Only once did I get the flu shot – that was about five years ago and I got very ill afterwards. Never again.

However, I am in a high risk occupation. Let's just say I am around at least 120 kids all day five days a week. The way it works in my profession is you get everything the kids get one year, then you are good to go for the next three. So this past year has been my year to get sick. The next three should be smooth sailing. Then God willing I will retire.
