>challenging shills, what happens whe frustrated anons and newfags join in
Been on both sides, know what it's like both as digger and baker. Diggers work hard to bring something of value to /qr/; bakers work hard to keep up with 700+ posts each bread.
On a practical level, works best for one person (the baker) to 'manage' each bread, but not a perfect system bc involves a lot of responsibility, bakers get targeted a lot, and as a result, can sometimes become more 'firm' than is ideal bc of a defensive stance.
Most disputes revolve around notables, because when a post is notabled, many anons see it within the next couple of hours. Good for diggs, catching up on news, presenting insightful anon perspectives on q posts, etc. Diggers will fight for what they see as important diggs; and that's good, bc bakers don't know about every single dig or every key news story, even tho they are constantly reading to keep up.
Sometimes disputes arise when bakers have ideas that diverge from the norm about what it means for a post to be 'notable'. This is gonna happen coz this board attracts free thinkers–and that includes bakers. Best solution is find another baker for any overlooked or rejected posts.
Helps if both bakers and anons remember that notables aren't everything, all posts go into qresear.ch, you can always post multiple times posts not spam). Q team sees everything!
This board is a real work of art that have been lovingly created by diverse individuals over time. Good for all of us to stand up for one another against either shill attacks or ignorant attacks by anons who get taken in by shills.
As long as we can work together to create a board where Q can postand where we can all dig, meme and prayeverything else is gravy.
Bakers are so often attacked that it's easy to
