They have a lab in Wuhan. I don't think that lab would even exist if Congress hadn't put a moratorium on certain types of microbial research.
Could it be that pushing the remdesivir owned by the CCP is tied to the lab in Wuhan in some way? Could it be a condition for keeping it? Perhaps the profits from remdesivir will take the place of the grants that the US had been providing before, now that Pres. Trump is on to them?
My understanding is that prior to January, hydroxychloroquine was an over the counter drug in France. Now it requires a prescription.
