Thx for your clear explanation. Will summarize what i know about the situation in hope it will help resolve it in the long run.

  • Added back the Int Research Threads List - Had been removed / put into a paste

>They were only in the dough bc one anon pushed and pushed for that. Previously, were in a bun.

  • Same for the Other Dedicated Research Threads

Yes, that was in the bread previously.

  • Removed Endchan WarRoom Ops, they're not from our WarRoom

Good!

  • Removed the 'Newfag' Section which replaced the Research Threads list by someone who didn't discuss the change with anons

Ok - that newfag section was written by me but NOT put into the dough by me. Anon who wanted the country threads to have direct links also wanted newfags to have a pointer to the practice thread. It ended up in the dough at about the same time as the country threads (broken out). This was a few weeks ago.

Dough was originally reverted by me during a bake by OSS1, when he noticed that dough had been changed and wasn't sure it should have been. I tracked down the changes (which consisted of breaking out the country threads and adding new link to practice thread)–and i think taking out redundant Romania thread. Bread was fast, did the reversion and gave him a link just before end of bread. Still don't know why baker broke out the country threads or made other changes - maybe got talked into it by anon who wanted it.

Afterwards, that anon (i assume it was the same one) keep spamming the board with the country threads and link to practice thread. Finally, i showed him something i was working on that would include the practice thread: the "newfag guide."

He apparently liked it bc he added it to his spam post promoting direct link country threads. I ignored it after that. But one day, saw both had been added to the dough - prolly talked another baker into that, but i don't know.

So idea of a newfag guide was mine but i'd never just add a big section like that wo/discussion. Wasn't finished with it anyway. But when it appeared, let it alone.

So that's everything i know.

Not too happy with broken out list appearing in dough again, in part bc of space concerns and in part bc it's the result of someone pushing something in a way i don't respect. As you say, no one should be able to sneak stuff into the dough.

Just checking on the historical handling of country threads in the dough. Were not previously displayed in dough as direct links unless it was years ago. See any July /qrb/ threads to see exactly what traditional 8chan /qr/ threads looked like before deplatforming, e.g.:

Baker is NOT compd.

Just the opposite.

Baker is doing the best possible job in a confusing situation where the confusion was created by anon or anons pushing to have dough changes that others may not want. But he or they did not ask–just pushed. Hence, the reversion.

by broken out, i mean the direct links are in the dough rather than the links being in a pastebin.

Yes, the broken out list is less than a month old, i think that's about right. It wasn't part of the dough prior to that, as far as i know.

Here is what the middle part of the War Room dough looked like in July 2019. It's from /qrb/ - and close to what it looked like in /qr/. Some of the theads have probably changed but format is the same.

>Added sneakily?

Probably added by some baker being pushed by spamming anon to add. Pretty sure it was NOT a baker trying to sneak stuff in, but either adding to get anon off his back or by new or rusty baker. No baker i know would have a reason to want this dough change.

If some baker on the board now knows more about how/why new stuff got added to dough a few weeks ago, please say. I reverted the dough once, in response to concerns of another baker, but wasn't around when anything was added.
