Google is a scam. They are using numbers from Wikipedia and when you follow the source it leads to a Chinese website https://www.1point3acres.com/

They produced a covid dashboard that they say uses the numbers from CDC, but this is not correct. The numbers don’t match. Clearly they are using the data from WHO which shows much higher death rates.
