President Trump will travel to Camp David on Friday, marking his first time leaving the White House since late March.

The president will depart for the Maryland-based retreat on Friday evening, according to his public schedule. Prior to that, he will hold an event recognizing the work of individuals on the front-lines of the coronavirus pandemic during a ceremony in the Blue Room.

It's unclear how long Trump will be at Camp David or what he will do. He is scheduled to take part in a Fox News town hall event at the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday night.

The president last left the White House on March 28, when he made the short trip to Norfolk, Va., to send off a Naval hospital ship. He has otherwise remained sheltered in the nation's capital as the coronavirus pandemic grips the nation.
