I never used to be this smart
I used to believe all sorts of stupid crap
But, many decades of a passion for the truth and ability to absorb all sources of news (regardless of bias) has ultimately led me to this place
If deaths from
cars
drugs
water
suicide
etc
were reported and exploited daily it would have the same "plague" effect, and be based in truth, but no different than any ol other day.

They do not realize that they have been standing next to armed people all their life.
THAT is the nature of gun ownership. It is respectfully utilized without obvious bravado or intimidation. Until the opposite is needed.
People have been sick suffering and dying from flu pneumonia and common ailments too much and for too long. Nothing new except the horrible fearporn coverage of it.
