I mean, cattle are easy. Just leave them out on the range until they're needed. They're only threatened when they're not "social distancing." But the way chickens and pigs are raised is another matter. They're generally raised in confinement from conception to slaughter.
Good point. That's also why sunbeams look like they're coming from a source much closer than 93 million miles away. Refraction happens in the atmosphere. If you've ever cleaned a pool, you've seen refraction. The pole in the photo is straight, but it appears to be bent due to refraction.
