In 2010 Obama began the purge using information in a profile piece on Gen. Stanley McChrystal published in Rolling Stone magazine and written by michael hastings. The article says Gen McChrystal used disparaging language about Hussein and Creepy Joe.
McChrystal is relieved of command and Hastings has an unfortunate and improbable accident. That's the chess they play.
