So I was looking around the influenza wiki page looking for info about why the flu meds are effective and I found a few things that might be relevant. Q asked why children are immune and the elderly more at risk. Visually the flu looks a lot like a corona virus that we see plastered all over the news. With all the false positives and testing confusion (I still have to look into that aspect) is it possible that this is a type of flu? Possibly Type C?

Also in the graphic Q linked total expected deaths go down over time and I think i heard that most deaths have occurred with people that were in bad shape anyhow.

I've seen that but i was talking about the drop off near the end of the chart. If the models were correct the expected deaths would get better over time as you have more data to work with.

The second pic is an electron microscope image without any added colors. The third is just a artists rendition. The SHAPE of CV is very similar to the SEM pic of flu.

I should add that I highly doubt anyone has actually ran an SEM of the CV, maybe but I have yet to come across one. It's not something anyone would use to diagnose or identify a virus.

Thanks for the pic but I don't really like the cleaned up colorized artist rendition in a lot of these published SEM pics. I know that's what the public wants to see though. Reminds me of NASA stuff where they just make it pretty for the public.
