but models and methods change based on the situation. you are showing methods used in 2017-2018 for the flu only. that doesn't mean the same process is being used.
I get that the situation is the same, but can you find anything stating that they are using the same modeling for covid? you are citing their method for the flu 2 years ago, which may be the current method, but what you liked provides nothing to support that it is their current method for covid.
what you originally posted says absolutely nothing about covid. suggesting it is the same database is mere assumption on your part since nothing in what you posted asserts that fact. if you have something that actually shows what you are suggesting then by all means post it. until then your sauce is moldy.
