Question

Does every new annual flu disproportionately cause death in all non-Northeastern European ethnic groups; and not based on genetics directly, but based on diet and culture of both Vitamin D fortification and consumption of milk?

Vitamin D may not cure the flu once you have it, but the weight of scientific evidence is that a Vitamin D deficiency makes you greatly more susceptible.

Observations

  1. The China flu disproportionately infects the old over the young, in fact the youngest seem immune

  1. The China flu disproportionately infected Chinese and Italians, according to the news

  1. Nordic nations such as Sweden viewed themselves as immune to the China flu and declined to order nationwide lockdowns

  1. Senior citizens at some nursing homes have had shockingly high infection and death rates.

  1. Hollywood stars such as Whoopi Goldberg have described the China flu as disproportionately affecting African Americans.

  1. New York City has been hit the hardest, according to the news, and it is America’s most Jewish of our large northern cities and in general has one of the highest proportions of non-Northern Europeans.

  1. Both Italians and Greeks have a high prevalence of lactose intolerance, likely further decreasing their cultural affinities with drinking milk

  1. Africans, Asians, Native Americans, Southern Europeans and Ashkenazi Jewish people have the highest prevalence of lactose intolerance (and is in a northern climate), so within the US, these groups may have lower than average Vitamin D exposure. This perhaps could explain the disparate impact of the China flu on New York City.
