Yes

The tophet (also topheth) was a sacred precinct usually located outside cities where sacrifices and burials were made, especially of young children, in rituals of the Phoenician and then Carthaginian religion.

The symbolism associated with Tanit is perhaps the best preserved in the ancient tradition's raw form, but it survives in many lineages and occult schools across the world.

1921, French archeologists excavated some of the ancient Carthage…The archeologists dubbed this place a “Tophet”, which is the Hebrew word for the place of child sacrifice near Jerusalem at Jeremiah 7:31. In time, many more Tophet cemeteries were discovered. The largest contained the remains of approximately 20,000 infants in urns as well as some animals.
