‘Contact Tracing’

So the two biggest tech companies (Apple and Google) are supposedly working on ways to do contact tracing.

The thing that worries me is that they have the potential to steer the narrative if they so choose. They could overhype and exaggerate the facts if they wanted to. There’s too much power in the hands of private industry if their health audit on America has an impact on policy.

Technology could be used for good things but also could be used to further an agenda. I hope their are transparency measures and unbiased oversight of these programs to ensure accuracy, privacy and honesty.
