There’s a real question of whether cities, counties and colleges should ever have their own police forces.
I would argue all police should be state police, and for small ridiculous states, they should be under a state regional authority.
Those authorities and the state police should be certified and overseen (not managed but overseen) by DHS.
Local Marxist politicians are using armed police and jails for social justice bullshit.
DOJ should start decertifying local police forces and taking them into a type of receivership. Then roll them into state police forces.
