Bacteria

vector (in biology)

Viruses are not living things. they are pieces of code which hack the reproductive capacities of other life forms to replicate.
Bacteria can be vectors for viruses, viruses can not be vectors for bacteria. A bacteria is a living organism IE self replicating code that runs on an environmental substrate. Bacteria and communities of bacteria are lifeforms.
