LET'S DO THIS!
Spouse and I had a bad fight one night, and cops got called (which was stupid)….It wasn't THAT bad…just loud apparently, to my nosy neighbors…)
Anyway, they determined that we physically assaulted each other (we had NOT!!!) and
proceeded to handcuff us both and arrest us in front of our kids. Threw us in separate cars.
Made us call our parents to get our kids…
Absolute nightmare. Charged with domestic violence and thrown in jail for 2 days.
Cost 5k also, and was on our records….
The cops were awful to both of us. Treated us like criminals (neither of us had ever been in trouble, ever before.)
I take meds that weren't allowed in jail so they threw me in a 'detox' cell, and only allowed one aspirin every 12 hours.
Worst time of my life. Missed my kids birthday party next day.
