Regarding the extension of the SAH orders in some of the states….

How long does it take to change habits?

Some of these SAH orders have been extended out to June and July. So, having started many of them about March 24th that means some of the SAH orders will have been in effect approximately 98 days be then end of June.

So. Again. How many days does it take to change habits?

Quoting from https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/the-happiness-project/200910/stop-expecting-change-your-habit-in-21-days - "Fact is, habits are hard to alter, and that’s why developing a good habit is really worth the struggle; once you’re used to making your bed each morning, or going for an evening walk, or flossing, you don’t have to exert much self-control to keep it up."

Quoting from https://jamesclear.com/new-habit - "On average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic — 66 days to be exact. And how long it takes a new habit to form can vary widely depending on the behavior, the person, and the circumstances. In Lally's study, it took anywhere from 18 days to 254 days for people to form a new habit."

Quoting from https://metro.co.uk/2016/12/30/how-long-does-it-take-to-change-a-habit-6351291/ - "The average was 66 days, the shortest 18 days. The longest reported at the end of three months that the habit still was not second nature – and it wasn’t until 254 days had passed.

So, RESIST developing new habits ordered by the SAH orders.
