LOL: Antifa Storms EMPTY Shelter for Illegal Immigrant Children in Chicago (VIDEO)

Antifa militants stormed an Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Chicago on Friday as part of a “May Day” protest.

Their efforts were pointless, as The Heartland Alliance building is currently vacant as it is undergoing renovations.

The Heartland Alliance is a non-profit organization that runs shelters to care for migrant children who have been brought to the country illegally.

In footage of the protest posted by a member of Antifa, masked militants are seen vandalizing the streets as they marched to the building and lighting explosives and smoke bombs upon their arrival.

NYPD officer brandishes taser, tackles and strikes bystander during social-distancing bust (VIDEO)

Video out of New York City shows an officer brandishing a taser and repeatedly striking a bystander during a social distancing bust, a measure meant to stop the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The run-in reportedly began when officers were trying to break up a gathering of people in the East Village on Saturday, which is prohibited under current lockdown measures in the city.

The video shows police tussling with a suspect while onlookers ask aloud what they did. A man then approaches the incident, and the officer tells him to keep his stance while brandishing his taser.

“What you flexing for? Don’t flex,” the officer warns the man, who is off camera. After the man appears to continue approaching, the officer brings him to the ground and proceeds to strike him in the face several times.

IS THIS #NYPD BRUTALITY OR NOT? We report, you decide. This happened on Ave D and 9th St, in the #LowerEastSide of #Manhattan on Saturday - @NYCMayor@NYPDnewspic.twitter.com/0pTDTat17S

— NYC Scanner (@NYScanner) May 3, 2020

The officer then yells at the gathered grows, cursing, and saying, “That’s right!” This policeman, along with many of the others at the scene, are not wearing protective masks, something that has typically been required of law enforcement.

“It started out as a social distancing enforcement,” Commissioner Dermot Shea on Sunday. “I am aware of the video that’s out there.”

The media & Dems are prioritizing beating Trump over taking Tara Reade’s accusations against Biden fairly

With Joe Biden accused of sexual assault, Democrats and the mainstream media are being exposed as hypocrites willing to compromise their values, cautiously calling for a probe after ignoring the story for too long.

The editorial board at the New York Times actually believes the accusations put forth by Tara Reade against Biden should be investigated — with a couple caveats. They should be investigated by the Democratic National Committee with the cooperation of Biden’s presidential campaign, insisting that the “stakes are too high” for the matter to be “investigated by and adjudicated in the media. Mr. Biden is seeking the highest office.”

The New York Times even compares their stance on Reade’s accusations with previous calls by the paper for accusations against now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, a conservative, to be looked into. The only problem is in the two Kavanaugh-related pieces the editorial boards links to, one is a takedown of the Republican Party and its connections to sexual assault and the other is a call for Kavanaugh’s accuser to testify publicly, which she eventually did.

VIDEO: Open Illinois Rally on May Day in Chicago versus the Communist May Day Rally

Illinois Governer J. B. Pritzker has the state in lockdown and businesses shut down until the end of May.

An Illinois legislator last Wednesday filed a second legal challenge to Pritzker saying the Democrat governor’s emergency powers are limited to 30 days and that Pritzker therefore had no right to extend his March 21 order through the end of May.

But not all Illinois residents are equal.

Governor Pritzker recently sent his wife and kids to Florida during the state stay-at-home orders.

When confronted on his family’s Florida trip Pritzker told the reporter, “In politics it used to be we kept our families out of it. Yeah, my official duties have nothing to do with my family. So, I’m just not going to answer that question.”

On Friday protesters gathered in Chicago for an Open Illinois protest.

At the same time the communists came out for the annual May Day protests.

Tech rights, free speech rights groups say Facebook facilitates government censorship

The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education found in a study that “77.4 percent of surveyed institutions choose to employ a blacklist of prohibited words not disclosed to the public,” which for one school includes an emoji.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation’s Civil Liberties Director told Campus Reform that this censorship by public colleges “is as dangerous in the public university context as it is [with] any governmental official…”

Both foundations have joined forces by co-writing an open letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg urging him to enact pro-free-expression policies consistent with his prior statements within the past year praising free speech.

The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) conducted a revealing study on secret social media censorship perpetrated by public colleges and universities. FIRE asserts that this censorship by public entities violates the First Amendment, with some of the actions including blocking users and filtering content, which for one school included blocking an emoji.

Among the censored words were "Silent Sam" at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, as well as the names of political candidates Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders at Portland State University, Oklahoma State University, the University of Arizona, and UNC-Chapel Hill. Arizona State University censored derogatory political labels, such as "Trumptards" and "NObama." Oklahama State University was the only university to also censor at least one emoji: the middle finger.

“This practice is as dangerous in the public university context as it is when any governmental official or agency blocks members of the public either from participating in a discussion."

FIRE says, “[b]ecause Facebook is a private entity, the First Amendment—which only limits government actors—does not require it to honor expressive freedom,” but nonetheless, “Facebook provides governments the tools to censor. These actors include public universities and colleges which are bound by the First Amendment…”

MAJOR: China Launches DCEP Cryptocurrency in move against Deep State controlled Bitcoin

BEIJING – After numerous postponements, China seems ready to use its own cryptocurrency, the first of its kind to be openly endorsed by a State and equivalent to legal tender .

Cryptocurrencies in general are digital forms of money protected by some form of encryption . The best known ones that have burst onto the scene in recent years are those that are based on a system of controls called blockchain . Among them stands out bitcoin whose main characteristic is its distributed control and the (supposed) impossibility of one or few people controlling it.

Despite not having the endorsement of a central bank or any official authority, some cryptocurrencies achieved what is essential to consider themselves money: to be accepted as carriers of value. Their dissemination and speculation around them posed a problem for governments because the movements become a black box inaccessible to any control. That is why in some countries, notably China, they recently banned its use and the processing necessary for its operation: about 70 percent of global bitcoin mining was taking place in China .

Global backlash builds against China over coronavirus

China has responded aggressively to backlash surrounding the pandemic

BRUSSELS - Australia has called for an inquiry into the origin of the coronavirus. Germany and Britain are hesitating anew about inviting in Chinese tech giant Huawei. President Donald Trump has blamed China for the contagion and is seeking to punish it. Some governments want to sue Beijing for damages and reparations.

Across the globe a backlash is building against China for its initial mishandling of the crisis that helped loose the coronavirus on the world, creating a deeply polarizing battle of narratives and setting back China's ambition to fill the leadership vacuum left by the United States.

China, never receptive to outside criticism and wary of damage to its domestic control and long economic reach, has responded aggressively, combining medical aid to other countries with harsh nationalist rhetoric and mixing demands for gratitude with economic threats.

'40 visits and his own office': Jeffrey Epstein's links to Harvard University revealed in new report

Jeffrey Epstein had his own office at Harvard University and visited the college more than 40 times after he was released from prison on sex crimes charges in 2010, according to a new report.

An internal review by Harvard, published on Friday, laid bare deep, longstanding ties between Epstein and the university that were only cut after fresh allegations emerged against the disgraced late financier in 2018.

Harvard confirmed that Epstein, who died in a New York prison in August awaiting trial on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges, had made more than $9 million (ÂŁ7m) in donations to them over the years.

His money funded the construction of at least one campus building.

The review found that no gifts were received from Epstein, who was not an alumni, following his conviction in 2008 for Florida state sex crimes, one of which involved soliciting sex for pay from an underage girl.

Lawrence Bacow, Harvard’s president, said the university has donated $210,000 of unspent donations to groups that support victims of sex trafficking and assault.

The report, overseen by Diane Lopez, Harvard’s general counsel and vice president, found that even after his conviction and subsequent 13-month stint in jail, “some members of the Harvard community continued their relationships with Epstein.”

Ms Lopez wrote that "in 2013, several faculty members requested that Harvard reconsider accepting donations from Epstein.”

The university reported that Martin Nowak, director of the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics (PED), had been placed on administrative leave over “unreported” contact between him and Epstein.

And Now For something completely Different

New York mayor reveals special red armbands for police enforcing lockdown

New York, NY — Having let his facial hair grow freely for several weeks, New York Mayor Bill De Blasio held a press conference this morning where he unveiled special red armbands for police enforcing the city's quarantine on the Jewish community.

"The red armband represents our commitment to public health," he said. "City workers and police who want to show their loyalty to making sure undesirable groups are not breaking quarantine will be asked to wear the bands for easy identification."

"The third glorious era of New York will reign triumphant!" he cried, banging on his lectern. "Together we can reclaim the glories of our once-great kingdom!"

The mayor also suggesting some kind of camp that could concentrate on the Jews, as well as maybe some way to identify them in public so people could keep away from "undesirable" contact with them. "We could take them to the camp on the subway trains."

Some are saying the move represents bad optics for the city's mayor. But he didn't seem to see any issue with the bands, saying they simply helped identify the special squadrons of police that would focus on the Jewish community. "We'll call them the S.S. for short," he said.

He also announced his plans to invade Poland.
