Not a boatfag, but I try to follow their reports pretty closely and no, I don't recall anything at that time on Qresearch that could substantiate the Chicoms' claim of expelling a U.S. ship from those waters.

I'd like to know what POTUS sees as the future of the disputed areas of the 'South China Sea'.
Let's say there is a shooting war there and the U.S. military sends the Chicoms home with their tails between their legs.
Who, then, gets the Paracels and Spratlys? Does POTUS just hand them over to Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan even if those countries didn't contribute to the military effort there?
Does the U.S. move in and take the islands like we did to many Pacific islands after WW2? How then to handle complaints from Vietnam, Phlippines et al. that we stole their islands?
Some of course would say to put the islands under UN Peacekeeper control, but no anon would support that.
the legal definition of "pandemic" might come into play here.
Whether one takes the high end or the low end of the CDC's published stats, I don't see how covid19 meets any standard definition of a 'pandemic'.
Looks like part of what POTUS did was to replace the B-52s that had been at Guam with B-1's instead.
Maybe some mil Patriots could tell us what that means tactically.
Also it looks like they somewhat rushed into service a new/modified version of the old Harpoon missile which many of the subs as well as aircraft in the Pacific are getting equipped with.
So maybe thinking of sinking a Chicom ship, or two, or three? I dunno….
