What I mean is that we only have control over our response to the situations as we face them. There are no "snap of the fingers" solutions to this set of globally interlinked complex problems. Our entire culture is a house of cards, built on lots of bullshit, which sits on the edge of a precipice. It can be fixed, in fact it has to be. We know too much to leave it unfixed, but fixing it is a process.
Ever restore an old car? Hell of a lot easier to just go buy a new one. However, there are no new civilizations currently for purchase in this GAME...of life. We work within the rules we are provided, find the loopholes, round up the posse, and take it to the masses. This government is of We The People. They must be awoken, and reminded. Only they can fix this...but they can FIX this. Hell, with a schematic and a credit card, anything is fixable...even the Space Shuttle.
We're heading to war with the Army we HAVE, not necessarily the one we want. Thankful to have an Army, nonetheless, to stand alongside.
