6 feet is needed to separate phone location GPS data? The collection of phone data via GPS would be garbled with other users unless a distance is maintained that GPS can pinpoint? I've heard that old school GPS could only approximate to within a 6 foot radius. Anyone else think other possibilities? And stay at home is monitoring the number of compliant lemmings?

Yeah. I kinda feel that way as well. If I go somewhere that I might need the device for emergency, I could always bust it out. Otherwise, nobody knows where that phone is. COMPLETELY off the radar.
