H1N1 was a test for US.
Possible. Won't know for sure until everyone has a test available. I figured the same, just before New Year's. Dec 27th or 28th timeframe when I first started showing symptoms with a minor irritated throat.
I was sick for a solid month, worst that I have ever had (and I have had a lot!). Whatever it was not only got into my lungs bad, but it also got into my digestive system. It killed off all my good digestive bugs! That, itself took me about 2 weeks to fix with a strict vegetarian diet and Kombucha tea.
