Regarding the recent Q drop about expending ammunition…As a sometimes reader of /k/ threads, I've seen the topic come up. Everybody says they want a machine gun but in warfare, the giggle switch has two real functions.
One is suppression. Nobody shooting thinks they'll hit anything, and you can avoid taking damage pretty easily … by not showing your silly mug up above ground where it will intersect a terrible fact about the laws of motion. So keep your fool head down and nobody gets hurt.
The other is to deal with cover. Sure, we've got a great big president in our way. But after twenty thousand hits to precisely the same spot, all that concrete will eventually give way … then the glorified .22 bullets will start bouncing around inside your fancy bunker, and then who's laughing?
Probably repeating the already-said, but now that work is happening again I don't really have the time to keep up with these threads I barely kept up with before so … Happy Stalking, strelok!
