Been training for the last three years ever since finding this board. As the other anons have said, its main use is reverse engineering.

 

For the infosec people here, my suggestion is to start off by fuzzing common social media apps. Anything Silicon Valley is going to use to funnel data to Defeat Disinfo's algorithms.

Take a good look at the apps in this article and others of their ilk. Using a tool like Wireshark to monitor their behavior in a test environment would a good idea.

 

It also could be interesting to look into using spoofing.
