You have just identified your one issue that you want to build a national movement around.
Start by talking it over with neighbors to see what people think, then go online and discuss it in any public forums that might be receptive. Then set up a GoFundMe or similar, and get started.
Probably we need to try a bunch of things and see which one sticks.
There used to be some MSM sources that tried to always cover both sides of an issue. You could build a blogosphere aggregator that was edited, that is, nothing gets included until it is checked, then you weed out repeats and make sure all points of view are included. Readers are smart enough to decide for themselves who has the best position.
WiFi is capable of having built-in local-sharing services. Most wifi comes from a router which is actually a tiny server. With a bit of software it could serve as community bulletin board. If it was text only, that would remove the need for blocking porn and it could be added to even older less capable routers. Walk into your local coffee shop and check a well-known URL that gives you nly a local server.
Teach folks how to run pump.io servers. Then you have a distributed network that replaces twitter. Anyone can be an editor and point to great blog sources.

I suspect a pharma angle to this crash as well. It is entirely possible that multiple targeted victims were nudged onto the same flight.
