Starting by decompiling and trying to reverse engineer applications looking for vulnerabilities you wouldn't know if you saw them is a futile task, anon. Mess around on the site I linked and figure out what language best fits your personality then come back and ask for some resources to learn that language.

The big difference is you won't see progress for several weeks when you get into programming. Several weeks of focused work for 1-3 hours a day, after 4-6 weeks you might see some reward and it will be 3 months of 3 hours a day or about 300 hours of work before you can be legitimately called a junior level programmer.
