If you want to talk about nobility and bloodlines, you might well recognize that a large portion of the nobility were the ones who pushed back hard against the political centralization of the absolute monarchs during their power grab, and argued that semi-independent, local political authorities were the surest bulwark against tyranny. This effort took place well before the influence of Masonic temples overtook political ideology and colored it with secular humanism.
In Europe, they failed. In America, it won, largely due to the influence of an aristocracy of bottom-feeders, or so they were viewed by the European elite.
