What Is Taking So Long???!!!

Clapper’s Numerous Mistakes

Within a span of about four months, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper made headlines because of three blunders.

In December 2010, Clapper got caught on the air not knowing about a large terrorism arrest in the United Kingdom. ABC News’ Diana Sawyer asked Clapper during an interview about the capture of 12 suspects in London that morning. The intel chief responded with stunned silence, before another administration official stepped in to answer for Clapper.

Then in February 2011, Clapper testified before a House Intelligence Committee about Egypt’s branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. He characterized the organization as “very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried Al Qaeda as a perversion of Islam.” Somehow, the existence of “Muslim” in the name escaped Clapper’s assessment of the brotherhood being non-religious in orientation.

And the following month, Clapper predicted Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi would “prevail” against rebels seeking his overthrow. Gaddafi was forced to flee several months later and later killed by rebels.

Clapper was still on the job as of August 2012.

CLAP OFF THE CLAPPER: Director of National Intelligence James Clapper must go

Posted at 6:35 pm on February 10, 2011 by barrypopik

The host of The Schnitt Show this past hour has called for Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to resign or to be fired. I agree. John Boehner, are you listening?

THE DIANE SAWYER INTERVIEW DEBACLE

Clapper should have been fired right after the Diane Sawyer interview debacle. Diane Sawyer wasn’t out for blood and she wasn’t asking “gotcha!” questions. She simply asked the Director of National Intelligence about the arrest of 12 suspected terrorists in London–a story that has been all over the news. Our Director of National Intelligence HAD NO IDEA WHAT SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT

Janet “from another planet” Napolitano tried to cover for him, as did the Obama administration. “I’m glad our Director of National Intelligence doesn’t waste his time watching tv,” we were told.

Are you satisfied that this clueless fellow is keeping us safe?

THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD IS LARGELY SECULAR?

SUMMARY

James Clapper must either resign or be fired.

If this does not happen with 24 hours, then John Boehner must call for an immediate vote of “no confidence” in the House of Representatives.

Our Director of National Intelligence should at least have some.

So we can form a religion and get a religious exemption or create a handicap that prohibits or prevents us from wearing masks. Then, we can't be persecuted for not wearing one because of muh freedoms and protections.
