CNN Sends Trump Campaign Cease and Desist Letter, Trump Campaign Fires Back

Far-left network CNN sent out a cease and desist letter to the Trump campaign after the campaign released an ad showing CNN praise the government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. CNN however is claiming that the ad is “deceptive” because they say the ad makes it seem that the network is agreeing that President Trump saved lives.

“A lawyer for CNN’s parent company WarnerMedia has written a cease-and-desist letter to President Trump’s re-election campaign over the misleading contents of a new campaign ad,” CNN announced Monday. “WarnerMedia says the Trump ad is misusing CNN news coverage in a way that’s ‘false, misleading and deceptive.’”

“My administration will take all necessary steps to safeguard our citizens from this threat,” President Trump said at the beginning of the ad.

The ad then cuts to various critics of Trump’s initial ban on travel from China, including presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, who accuses Trump of “xenophobia.”

828 lightning strikes: Israel battered by unseasonal thunderstorms, hail, floods

Rain drenches whole country, with record-breaking number of lightning strikes; Water Authority says it’s first time in over 30 years that back-to-back winters have been so rainy

Thunderstorms drenched Israel on Tuesday in a rare springtime downpour, with hail and flooding recorded in the south.

The storms raged from northern Israel to the Negev Desert in the south, and were expected to further raise the levels of the Sea of Galilee, which has already enjoyed a particularly rainy winter.

The rains were expected to continue Wednesday, but gradually peter off by evening.

The Israel Electric Corporation recorded 828 lightning strikes on Tuesday morning and afternoon, an unprecedented number for May, and up dramatically — by 2,748% — from May’s monthly average of 30.

The Israel Water Authority on Tuesday said the last time the country saw two such rainy winters consecutively was over three decades ago, in late 1986- early 1988.

Last year Israel saw generous rainfall in the north, raising the level of the Sea of Galilee by 19.5 centimeters and ending a 5-year drought that plagued the area.

And don’t say it was because leftist Yugoslavian patriot Gavrilo Princip joined with Muslim leftists to assassinate Austrian imperialist Archduke Franz Ferdinand – that explanation exists only because Western schoolchildren need something to recite.

Few know the right answer: it was a war concocted by Western high finance in order to forestall the anti-1% revolution inspired by socialism. Given that the West is a bankocracy, with bankers as their enlightened, benevolent vanguard party – how can we expect their textbooks to tell the truth here?

Thus their “intelligent” analysis is the absurd myth that World War One was actually “an accident”. So we are to believe that the battle of Verdun lasted nine months and caused 700,000 casualties just because the average French and German soldier said, “Well, as long as we’re here… how about a good fight?”

It’s preposterous, but it seems plausible when the West’s prior five decades of history also routinely go unexplained. The post-1860s birth of modern capitalism was actually far, far, FAR more deadly and evil than the formative years of socialism (and even without a Cold War to create sabotaging difficulties). The body counts aren’t even close – even further apart are the moral aims of the two systems.

The legendary book Late Victorian Holocausts: El Nino Famines and the Making of the Third World by Mike Davis illustrated how US, UK and French imperialists purposely created and/or purposely failed to flatten the curve of multimillion-murdering epidemics and famines in order to adhere to (and obviously profit from) the new liberal economic dogma of a “free market”. If you thought 1930s Soviets or 1950s Chinese or 1980s Iranians were ideologically extremist, then that’s because you have not learned about the raging capitalist genocidists of the late 18th century.

If you don’t teach that historical context, then how can World War One make sense? Thus, in order to protect their capitalist-imperialist ideology, World War One is an unexplainable aberration for the “advanced” Western intellectual.

Of course, even in the 1870s liberal ideology failed to create wealth for anyone but the 1% (whether Westerner or client/puppet) – the wealth has never, ever trickled down. What liberalism has always done is to permit increased market concentration and political power in a new 1%er aristocracy controlled by international bankers.

So the problem was not the nation-state, as Trotskyists assert – it was economic liberalism, i.e. globalisation. The idea that globalisation began around 1992 is a fiction, of course. This allows capitalists to keep ignoring their past crimes, and it has worked – their people cannot even explain why just a century ago their great-grandfathers fought their neighbors in trenches with chemical weapons.

We now know that the reason is that the Western 1% had stolen the wages and natural wealth from the entire world but now on an industrial scale and without any national patriotism, thus they conspired to forestall the socialist-inspired, progressive social changes which were the Western 99%’s only logical response to being forced to witness and participate in such atrocious money- and power-grabbing schemes. The common Marxist analysis back then was too hopeful: World War One was not the “final decline” of capitalism and imperialism – it was proof that international high finance will conspire however they can to prevent that final decline.

Indeed, socialism began in Western Europe and not elsewhere not because they are more “advanced” but because their lower classes were witnessing what their upper class was doing with the widest overview. Of course, they were shocked and proposed alternatives which they called “socialism”. But how could an Iranian or Chilean or Ethiopian have come up with such an idea – industrial & high-finance capitalism, and these “worst of humanity impulses on the largest scale”, were totally unimaginable and foreign until the moment that the Western 1% dropped their (debt) slave net on him or her?

Clinton Foundation Wants To Use AmeriCorps To Create A “National Contact Tracing Corps”

The Co-Chair of AmeriCorps and the creator of AmeriCorps, former President Bill Clinton, wants to create a national contact tracing force using AmeriCorps volunteers.

The Co-Chair of the AmeriCorps, Congressman John Garamendi, recently introduced a bill that would “expand volunteer opportunities within AmeriCorps and the Federal Emergency Management Agency” (FEMA).

The bill “Undertaking National Initiatives to Tackle Epidemic Act” (UNITE Act) would allow AmeriCorps and FEMA to create a national contact-tracing corps. (see page 10)

The bicameral legislation ensures that existing national and community service programs are fully mobilized in order to assist in testing and contact tracing. The bill would also ensure that Peace Corps volunteers, whose service involuntarily ended in March due to the global pandemic, will receive benefits and priority placement in these domestic programs so they can continue to use their skills by facilitating testing and contact tracing.

Coronavirus Gives a Dangerous Boost to DARPA’s Darkest Agenda

Technology developed by the Pentagon’s controversial research branch is getting a huge boost amid the current coronavirus crisis, with little attention going to the agency’s ulterior motives for developing said technologies, their potential for weaponization or their unintended consequences.

In January, well before the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis would result in lockdowns, quarantines and economic devastation in the United States and beyond, the U.S. intelligence community and the Pentagon were working with the National Security Council to create still-classified plans to respond to an imminent pandemic. It has since been alleged that the intelligence and military intelligence communities knew about a likely pandemic in the United States as early as last November, and potentially even before then.

Given this foreknowledge and the numerous simulations conducted in the United States last year regarding global viral pandemic outbreaks, at least six of varying scope and size, it has often been asked – Why did the government not act or prepare if an imminent global pandemic and the shortcomings of any response to such an event were known? Though the answer to this question has frequently been written off as mere “incompetence” in mainstream media circles, it is worth entertaining the possibility that a crisis was allowed to unfold.

Why would the intelligence community or another faction of the U.S. government knowingly allow a crisis such as this to occur? The answer is clear if one looks at history, as times of crisis have often been used by the U.S. government to implement policies that would normally be rejected by the American public, ranging from censorship of the press to mass surveillance networks. Though the government response to the September 11 attacks, like the Patriot Act, may be the most accessible example to many Americans, U.S. government efforts to limit the flow of “dangerous” journalism and surveil the population go back to as early as the First World War. Many of these policies, whether the Patriot Act after 9/11 or WWI-era civilian “spy” networks, did little if anything to protect the homeland, but instead led to increased surveillance and control that persisted long after the crisis that spurred them had ended.

Using this history as a lens, it is possible to look at the current coronavirus crisis to see how the long-standing agendas of ever-expanding mass surveillance and media censorship are again getting a dramatic boost thanks to the chaos unleashed by the coronavirus pandemic. Yet, this crisis is unique because it also has given a boost to a newer yet complimentary agenda that — if fulfilled – would render most, if not all, other government efforts at controlling and subduing their populations obsolete.

Trump Says Bailouts for Democratic-Run States Are Unfair to Republicans

President Donald Trump said that some states should not expect federal bailouts—especially if they are run by Democrats—amid the CCP virus pandemic.

“I think Congress is inclined to do a lot of things but I don’t think they’re inclined to do bailouts. A bailout is different than, you know, reimbursing for the plague,” Trump told the New York Post, adding that there would likely be a strong economic rebound after the worst of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic subsides.

“It’s not fair to the Republicans because all the states that need help—they’re run by Democrats in every case,” the president said. “Florida is doing phenomenal, Texas is doing phenomenal, the Midwest is, you know, fantastic—very little debt.”

He noted that Illinois, New York, and California—three states that are run by Democratic governors and have Democratic majorities in state legislatures—have “tremendous debt.”

“I don’t think the Republicans want to be in a position where they bail out states that are, that have been mismanaged over a long period of time,” Trump said.

Democrats have said that approving funding for municipalities and states is a priority for the fourth piece of stimulus legislation.

Maryland’s Republican governor, Larry Hogan, who serves as the chairman of the National Governors Association, said that Congress should approve funding to states.

Wait, Did Schiff Just Say COVID-19 Deaths Are 'Casualties' of His Failure to Remove Trump in Impeachment?!

On Monday, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), one of the leaders of the Democrats’ failed impeachment push to remove President Donald Trump, called the deaths from the coronavirus “casualties” of the Senate’s refusal to remove Trump from office in February. He appeared to suggest that all the deaths from coronavirus could be attributed to the fact that Donald Trump is president during this crisis.

“We certainly told the senators that he was not going to change and there was no way to constrain him, that he is who he is and he would continue to operate the way he had, and indeed that’s exactly what we’ve seen since,” Schiff told MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell. “Now the one thing I think we dramatically understated is when we asked the question, ‘If you found him guilty, do you really need to remove him, given that there’s another election only nine months away, how much damage could he do?'”

“We said a lot but little did we know just how great the casualties would be,” Schiff argued. “Some days we lose the equivalent of the number of people we lost on 9/11. And you know I think there’s no way we could have foreseen just how tragic his malfeasance would be in the remaining months of his administration.”

Schiff may not have meant to say all or even most of the deaths from coronavirus are “casualties” of the failure of impeachment, but that is exactly what his words suggest.

Throughout the interview, the Democrat slammed Trump. He attacked the president for having originally said that the coronavirus would be no worse than the flu — a line uttered across the media in part because experts did not understand the virus thanks to the Chinese Communist Party’s lies about it. He attacked the president for removing inspectors general such as Democratic favorite Glenn Fine.

While Trump arguably has made some missteps during the crisis, he has also arguably managed it rather well, given the knowledge available at the time. There is no reason to think most of the deaths could have been prevented, and had Trump issued a nation-wide stay-at-home order, Schiff would likely be crowing about his tyrannical overreach.

In fact, Schiff’s decision to reach for impeachment arguably undermines his attack on the president.

When the first confirmed coronavirus case in the U.S. came on January 20, 2020, Schiff was focused on prosecuting the impeachment case. Trump wasn’t acquitted by the U.S. Senate until February 5. On February 14, Democrats set their sights on Attorney General William Barr, perhaps beginning the process of impeaching him. That week, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) floated the idea of impeaching Trump again — over his tweets.

Virginia Pastors: Gov't Is Pushing Christians to Choose Between Sinning against God or Violating the Law

While many states have allowed individual churches to decide whether to meet in person amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Virginia has taken a hard line, banning all gatherings of more than ten people and trampling religious liberty in the process. A group of pastors, nearly 200 at present count, is calling on Gov. Ralph Northam to deem churches essential and allow them to meet so they can provide for the spiritual needs of their communities.

The signatories sent a letter to Northam on Monday morning (read the whole thing here) ahead of a planned afternoon press conference where the governor was expected to discuss the state’s stay-at-home order.

“As pastors of churches in Virginia, we thank you for your labors these last several months to care for the people of the Commonwealth,” the letter, penned by Arlington Baptist Church Sr. Pastor Michael Law, begins. “We have been praying for you. We write now to urge you to modify Executive Orders 53 and 55 to allow – at minimum – once-weekly gatherings of religious organizations, provided that reasonable public-health precautions are taken.”

“Many of our fellow Virginians have suffered the physical effects of the coronavirus, and many more have experienced fear, hopelessness, loneliness, and despair during this dark time,” the letter continues, explaining that “spiritual suffering” is among the very real harms from the pandemic.

“The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a hospital for the spiritually sick,” the pastors say. “Yet corporate worship services of more than 10 people have been banned in Virginia since March 23, regardless of the public-health protocols in place and notwithstanding that groups are permitted to gather in settings such as non-retail offices and ‘essential’ retail businesses. Prohibiting corporate worship services has exacerbated the sense of sorrow, isolation, and fear felt by so many citizens across the Commonwealth.”

On Monday Northam announced a phased plan for a partial reopening of Virginia, beginning on May 15, transitioning from a statewide stay-at-home order to a “safer-at-home” order. Phase I includes continued social distancing and teleworking, and “easing the limits on business and faith communities.” No further details on what this might mean have been released, but Northam made it clear that Phase I would not be put into effect until the following happens:

Increased testing and tracing

Enough hospital beds & intensive care capacity

Philip M. Giraldi: “Israel’s War Crimes Have Killed Americans”

Imagine if you will a ship from a nation not at war with anyone sailing in international waters on a quiet June day being suddenly attacked by unidentified warplanes and torpedo boats, their markings covered up to conceal their country of origin. The vessel under attack had little with which to defend itself, but its crew heroically made sure that a large national flag was hoisted to demonstrate that it was not a belligerent in anyone’s conflict. The attackers noted the nationality of the vessel, but persisted in their aggression in a clear attempt to sink the ship and kill all its crew. The officers on the ship radioed that they were under attack and asked for help, but even though friendly fighter aircraft were within striking distance and were automatically dispatched, they were then mysteriously recalled. The attacks lasted for two hours, longer than the Pearl Harbor attack that brought about American entry into World War 2, killing and wounding more than two hundred of the crew. Life rafts lowered into the water as the vessel seemed to be sinking were machine gunned by the attacking aircraft and torpedo boats to make escape or evacuation of the wounded impossible but the captain and survivors worked heroically, and successfully, to keep the ship afloat. When the vessel finally made it back to port, the officers and crew were sworn to silence by their own government and a cover-up was initiated that has persisted to this day. Many of the ship’s survivors have died since that day 53 years ago, and the attempts of the remainder to see justice before they are also gone have been ignored.

I am, of course, referring to the Israeli attack on the U.S.S. Liberty, which took place on June 8, 1967, nearly 53 years ago. The anniversary of the attack is coming up in a month and the remaining officers and crew will hold a ceremony at the Navy memorial in Washington D.C. to honor the memory of their thirty-four shipmates killed and the 172 who were wounded. Seventy per cent of the crew were casualties, the highest percentage of casualties on any ship that remained afloat in the history of the U.S. Navy. The lightly armed intelligence gathering vessel Liberty and its heroic crew emerged from the near destruction as the most decorated ship for valor in a single action in the United States Navy.

Israeli willingness to attack and kill Americans unnecessarily, apparently to send a message, has been noted before. There is the case of Rachel Corrie run over by an Israeli bulldozer and of Furkan Dogan, a Turkish-American who was, like the crew of the Liberty, killed in international waters when he sailed on the Gaza relief vessel Mavi Marmara. But in spite of that, the deliberate attempt to destroy the Liberty, which, according to former U.S. Secretary of State Dean Rusk, was clearly approved at the highest level of the Jewish state’s government, still has shock value.

Israel’s apologists, a virtual fixture at all levels in the U.S. government as well as in academia and the media, have long been making the argument that the attack on the Liberty was some kind of “friendly fire” accident. But the relatively recent discovery that a Navy spy plane intercepted and recorded Israeli both helicopter and fighter pilots mentioning the American flag displayed by the ship during the attack suggests otherwise. Other recordings made of the Israeli communications revealed that some of the pilots did not want to attack. One pilot said, “This is an American ship. I can see the flag. Do you still want us to attack?” Israeli ground control responded, “Yes, follow orders. Hit it!” before admonishing the pilots to “finish the job.”

I have spoken to you, almost without exception, every day. You have been calling me out of personal concern to make sure that I was okay, my wife was okay, my son was okay. 11 o’clock at night. Later. Waiting for my show to end, Saturday, Sunday morning, the rare time you have with your family. Why?

DR. ANTHONY FAUCI: First of all, you’re a friend. We have a professional relationship, but you’re a friend. I’ve known you, I hate to say it, since you were almost a kid. And the fact is, you were going through some difficult times. I don’t think that people seeing you on this show were really experiencing or realizing how you were really sucking it up to look relatively normal. But when you finished the show, when we started chatting at 11 o’clock, 11:30 at night, you were wiped out. You not only had the acute difficulty of the virus that was replicating in you, but you had some of the secondary effects.

Cuomo announced he tested positive for the coronavirus on March 31 and said he planned to quarantine in his basement to prevent his wife and children from also contracting the illness. However, his wife, Cristina, and 14-year-old son, Mario, ended up getting sick anyway.

During Cuomo’s illness, a biker who identified himself as David, told the New York Post that he witnessed the CNN anchor violating quarantine on Easter Sunday by taking his family to inspect an undeveloped property in East Hampton. David alleges that when he confronted Cuomo about breaking quarantine, the newsman verbally attacked him. The biker, a lifelong Democrat who voted for the CNN host’s brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), said he was so shaken by the incident that he filed a report with the East Hampton police.

Mayor Of Nice Demands “Health Passports” To Enter/Leave France

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared a new antibody test from diagnostics giant Roche Holding AG on Sunday, who is expected to flood the Western world with more than 100 million tests by the end of 2020, will determine if individuals have already been exposed to COVID-19 and presumably have immunity from it.

What the antibody test is, is a precursor to “immunity cards” or, as some call it “health passports.” Already, even before the tests are rolled out, some countries have suggested that health passports could be next. France is the latest country to call for new travel rules during the pandemic that would firmly restrict movement in the country, reported RT News.

The Mayor of Nice urged French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe last week to introduce new travel controls by using health passports in regions of France that border other countries.

Christian Estrosi, the mayor of Nice, posted a letter on Facebook one day after Philippe unveiled plans to ease stay-at-home restrictions for the country that would start in May, these rules could limit a person’s travel distance to 62 miles from their home.

Philippe said people need to adjust to a post-corona world where they must “learn to live with the virus” as restrictions are lifted.

Estrosi said the new passport would show the bearer tested negative for COVID-19 in the past 48-hours before travel. The proposal comes as severe lockdowns introduced on March 17 are being relaxed. He said health passports are likely the only method in fully relaxing lockdown measures.

France is not the only country that has spoken about introducing health passports. Other countries in Europe, such as Italy, Greece, Germany, and the UK, have also talked about the new travel rules. Even in the US, Bill Gates has pushed for immunity passports and the erection of the surveillance state to combat the virus.

Last month, we noted with the global economy in freefall as global cases surged to new highs, the suggestion by Western government officials to open crashed economies was through immunity passports.

We have raised several questions with immunity passports: First, nobody knows how long immunity lasts, and second, antibody tests are not ‘sufficiently accurate’. And a third issue we brought attention to are concerns over the social implications of immunity passports.

The proposal of immunity passports across the Western world is a sign that governments will seize greater control over people’s lives. And just what happens when someone is not considered immune? The government denies them a passport? Which means they would be out of work and can’t travel. But, oh yes, that’s why universal basic income will become a more concrete thing.

Erdogan Says Turkey “Will Not Accept Harassment In Syria”

On May 4th, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey “will no longer tolerate harassment in Syria safe zone.”

Terrorist groups are trying to exploit Turkey’s preoccupation with the coronavirus pandemic to step up attacks both within Turkey’s borders and beyond, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a televised address following a Cabinet meeting in Istanbul.

“This attitude alone is enough to show how far the terrorist group is from humanity,” he said.

He further added that the Turkish Armed Forces “are pursuing and neutralizing terrorists non-stop,” both their operations with and outside of the borders continue without stop.

“We closely monitor every step of members of the terrorist group operating in a wide area in northern Iraq and Syria.”

He further said that “countries that have influence” essentially refusing to simply name Russia have an obligation to assist it in implementing agreements.

“We invite countries that have influence in the region to comply with our permanent agreements, to keep the terrorist group outside the determined borders, and to prevent regime attacks,” Erdogan added.

Erdogan stressed that unfortunately no country is “fully fulfilling its promise” in this regard.

He entirely refuses to admit that the militants in the Idlib de-escalation zone continuously carry out attacks on the Syrian Arab Army and their Russian support.

As such, he simply entirely shifts the blame on President Bashar al-Assad’s government and forces, for responding to the continuous ceasefire breaches by the Turkish-backed groups in the area, as well as from those which Turkey allegedly doesn’t support.

But they regardless, somehow, use the equipment Turkey deploys, since in the middle of fighting, there’s no way to separate who’s a terrorist and who’s not – everybody simply wants to fight against the “bloody regime.”

As such, in Erdogan’s view, “harassment” and “ceasefire violations” are very loose terms that are only applicable to one side in the situation, and the rhetoric seems to be shifting back to the situation before the Turkish-Russian patrols in Idlib. As in, Turkey’s not fulfilling any of its agreements, while it simply disregards that fact and claims that the other parties are also not fulfilling their parts, but also not doing anything to cover for Ankara’s slack.

UPDATED: Trump Bodyguard Arrested By Venezuelan Authorities

UPDATE: It appears that one of the people arrested by Venezuelan authorities was Luke Denman, a mercenaries with American citizenship. Footage shows that Denman, along with his boss and former colleague Jordan Goodro ensured the safety of US President Donald Trump at a political event.

After the photos began to appear in the media of SilverCorp PMC’s Director Jordan Goodro and his activities to ensure the safety of US President Donald Trump, the ambiguous photos disappeared from the company’s accounts on social networks.

Donald Trump himself denies any connection with the White House recent events in Venezuela.

On May 4th, the Venezuelan authorities foiled a second “terrorist infiltration” attempt, capturing 8 suspects.

Local fishermen detected the armed incursion and alerted the Venezuelan armed forces.

According to Aragua’s Governor Rodolfo Marco, through local intelligence units and the joint civic-military unity the apprehension of these perpetrators was made possible.

The Venezuelan authorities reported that the eight “terrorists” were arrested inside the town of Chuao in the Aragua state; they were armed and attempting to infiltrate to cause harm to the South American nation.

“We continue in Popular Victory, how great we are! #BolivarianFury operation is proving its efficiency. Mercenaries who step on our homeland’s soil will be exposed to the people’s dignity,” the President Constituent Assembly Diosdado Cabello said shortly after the apprehension of the suspects.

Among the detained is Antonio Jose Sequea, who was photographed on April 30th, 2019, alongside Leopoldo Lopez during the failed coup attempt in Caracas.

Also, Adolfo Baduel, son of retired general Raul Baduel former Defense Minister to Hugo Chavez; and two alleged and currently named U.S. citizens.

This is the second alleged plot foiled in two days. On May 3rd, the Venezuelan authorities reportedly killed nine mercenaries and detained two others, who were part of what they called “Operation Gideon”.

They also seized 10 rifles, a Glock 9mm pistol, two AFAG machine guns that were part of the Federal Legislative Palace’s weapons park stolen by seditious groups in the April 2019 coup attempt.

Allegedly, the entire plot was orchestrated by a former US special forces operative – Jordan Goudreau.

According to Goudreau, his plan had been coordinated with Guaido who signed a contract on Oct. 16, 2019, for US$212 million. Miami-based opposition Venezuelan journalist Patricia Poleo published the document Sunday evening, which she purported to be a copy of the original contract.

Poleo interviewed Goudreau, who asserted that Silvercorp was hired to provide services, including “strategic planning,” “equipment procuring” and “project execution advisement,” by none other than Guaido, who despite the evidence has denied it.

Also, several audio recordings of an alleged conference call between Guiado, Goudreau, and senior Guaido envoy Sergio Vergara, in which they agreed to sign the contract were released. Now he has gone public arguing he only got US$50,000 through political consultant Juan Jose Rendon and the opposition kept promising to get him the rest but didn’t deliver.
