have I got this right?

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(20)30251-8/fulltext

"Although our phylogenetic analysis suggests that bats might be the original host of this virus, an animal sold at the seafood market in Wuhan might represent an intermediate host facilitating the emergence of the virus in humans."

Step 1 engineer bat viri in lab (I'm not not clear what was mixed)

Step 2 release/supply infected bat(s) to the seafood market

Step 3 humans in proximity to those bats are patient zero

your point is taken, but lancet says it was a bat, not an aerosol at the market

if they had it in an aerosol, why not wait until final 4, NBS championship - you know, release at huge venues, all, at once, but they didn't, so I don't think it's as nefarious as suggested
