I believe that AZAZ0909 means "We have it all, from A to Z and 0 to 9". They originally operated out of Davison Army Air Field near Washington, the home of Spec Ops.

There are AZAZ0909 and, more recently, AZAZ09O9 flights. I believe that '0' is a recon flight and 'O' an operations flight.

We have seen up to as many as four AZAZ0909 flights at one time, but recently they have usually been no more than two.

AZAZ0909 / O9 flights always precede happenings that follow very shortly after.

Well gasted my flabber, AZAZ0909 didn't vanish before it landed at Fort Drum.
