This is correct. Anyone saying Israel is "evil" is about as accurate as saying the USA is evil.
It has many bad elements, but also a huge portion of wonderful people both in positions of power and in the populace.
The world is rarely so black and white that one entity is responsible for all ills.
Evil people attract each other as do good. We witness that conflict played out across countless countries, religions, states, organisations, parties, etc.
