Unconstitutional! Court Agrees Newsom’s Plan to Give Taxpayer Money to Illegal Aliens Likely Illegal, But Allows it to Proceed Anyway

Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch requested a temporary restraining order against California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) and his Director of the California Department of Social Services Kim Johnson to prevent them from giving nearly $80 million of taxpayers’ money in cash payments and benefits to illegal aliens amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

The court found that Newsom likely had no authority to give illegal aliens taxpayer money but that ‘there was a public interest in sending tax money to illegal aliens during the Coronavirus crisis.’ – Judicial Watch reported.

“It is astonishing that a court would allow a public official to ignore the law and spend tax money with no legal authority. Simply put, as the court seems to acknowledge, the governor has no independent legal authority to spend state taxpayer money for cash payments to illegal aliens. We will appeal the court’s manifest error,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said.

Last month Gavin Newsom announced cash payments to illegal aliens who were not eligible for the Coronavirus stimulus package passed by Congress which gave cash to many tax-paying Americans who were affected by the Coronavirus.

California has several million illegal aliens living in the US.

So now Newsom is taking money from struggling Americans and redistributing it to illegal aliens.

“We feel a deep sense of gratitude for people that are in fear of deportations that are still addressing essential needs of tens of millions of Californians,” said Newsom.

Judicial Watch’s lawsuit argued the California state legislature had not enacted any law that affirmatively provided that illegal aliens were eligible for the Coronavirus cash payments and benefits announced by Newsom.

The Court agreed with Judicial Watch that what Newsom did was likely illegal, but they allowed him to proceed anyway.

Judicial Watch announced it will be appealing “the court’s manifest error.”

Boston shutdown protesters to governor, mayor: 'We’re tired of your BS. We’re tired of your lies. We’re tired of you acting like wanna-be dictators.'

'We don't want your shutdown anymore!'

'''Urbanski

A crowd of angry protesters gathered outside the Massachusetts State House demanding that all businesses be allowed to reopen amid the coronavirus shutdown that's sent tens of millions into unemployment lines across the country, WBZ-TV reported. '''

Who said what?

"We don't want your shutdown anymore!" conservative radio host Jeff Kuhner hollered into a microphone during Monday's demonstration.

The station said Kuhner helped organize the rally, which drew hundreds of supporters of President Donald Trump.

Matt Stout, state house reporter for the Boston Globe, noted another exclamation from the protest directed at Republican Gov. Charlie Baker and Democratic Mayor Marty Walsh: "We're tired of your BS. We're tired of your lies. We're tired of you acting like wanna-be dictators"

"Freedom" and "USA" chants erupted through the crowd, WBZ said.

"The only thing that Baker is doing by keeping the businesses from opening is causing more people to become victims by losing their jobs, losing their businesses," attendee Louis Murray told the station. "If you want to wear a mask, you can wear a mask. We're Americans, we're individualists."

"We are all essential … not just you, Gov. Baker!" a woman exclaimed, WBZ said.

Last week, Baker said nonessential businesses would remain closed until at least May 18, the station said, adding that the stay-at-home advisory and ban on gatherings of more than 10 people also are scheduled to end that day.

Breaking Poll: Joe Biden Loses One-Quarter of Democrat Voters after Tara Reade Allegations

61% of voters say they do not want to select a different Democratic nominee after Joe Biden’s denial of Tara Reade’s allegation, while 26% say the party should select a different nominee, and 13% are undecided.

And via The Trump Campaign — Sleepy Joe is not doing so well with several groups besides women.

Joe Biden’s chief argument throughout the Democrat primary was that he was the most electable. “You may like another candidate better but you have to look at who’s going to win,” his wife Jill told voters. “And maybe you have to swallow a little bit[.]”

But with Sleepy Joe as the presumptive Democrat nominee, the evidence that voters are simply falling in line is scant. In fact, Biden appears to be facing mounting problems with multiple key groups of voters:

Latino voters:

“[N]o group should concern Democrats more than Hispanics. A recent Latino Decisions poll reveals a clear enthusiasm gap among Latinos for both Biden and the 2020 election itself,” writes Univision anchor León Krauze at Slate. “[T]he lack of interest Biden generates within a community already plagued by low voter turnout should be an immediate cause for alarm for the Democratic Party.”

“A new poll of Latinos nationwide finds lower-than-usual support for former Vice President Joe Biden’s White House bid when compared to past Democratic nominees,” reports CBS News.

Black voters:

“Joe Biden’s advisers and allies have become torn over whether it is more important to choose an African American or a progressive running mate,” reports Politico. “While the two aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive, there is an ongoing debate about whether Biden ‘has the black vote locked up’ or ‘whether the bigger need we have is to put someone left-leaning’ on the ticket, a strategist familiar with discussions said.”

White working class voters:

“The president begins the campaign with strong support from the white working class who powered his upset win four years ago… matching or perhaps even exceeding his margin over Hillary Clinton in methodologically similar polls conducted late in the 2016 campaign,” writes Nate Cohn at The New York Times. “The results suggest that Mr. Biden, despite his reputed appeal to blue-collar workers, has made little to no progress in winning back the white voters without a college degree who supported Barack Obama in 2012 but swung to Mr. Trump in 2016.”

Female voters:

“[I]t is also possible that [the problem of Tara Reade’s allegations] won’t just go away, and that it will demoralize voters and place Mr. Biden at a disadvantage against Mr. Trump in the general election,” writes Elizabeth Bruenig at The New York Times. “For a candidate mainly favored for his presumed electability and the perception of empathy and decency, that’s a serious liability.”
