This is “lockdown” in SE Asia. You can shop for a new motorbike, get a bowl of noodles, drive anywhere. Yet extremely low mortality from Coronavirus.

Where are all the fabled deaths and overcrowded hospitals from the countries nearest to China, those in SE Asia, particularly Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia?

Those countries are known for fairly lax government enforcement, as can be seen in this video people can do all sorts of economic activity all day long and yet we see low official death tolls and no over crowded hospitals or mass graves as predicted by the nonsense alarmists.

Some will argue “well they just aren’t reporting the deaths”. More like they aren’t calling every heart attack or cancer COVID like was done in USA and Italy. And even if they were grossly under reporting, you can’t hide the alleged medical emergency predicted by the alarmists. It would be very apparent, but it doesn’t exist.

Death Toll Numbers for Each Country

China Won't Cooperate With COVID-19 Investigation Until 'Final Victory' Against Virus

China has refused to allow international experts into the country to investigate the source of COVID-19 until a "final victory" is secured over the virus, according to Beijing's UN ambassador Chen Xu.

According to France 24, China's first priority is beating the pandemic, then countering "absurd and ridiculous" claims by the United States that the virus likely escaped from a Wuhan lab known for experimenting with bat coronaviruses - which were modified for transmissibility to humans in highly criticized experiments.

"The top priority, for the time being, is to focus on the fight against the pandemic until we win the final victory," said Chen, adding " We need the right focus and allocation of our resources."

Chen hit back against claims that China was against the international probe, insisting that Beijing isn't "allergic to any kind of investigations, inquiries or evaluations," according to the report.

"We need to race with time to save lives as much as we can," he added. "For whether or how the invitation will take place, we need to have the right priority setting at this moment, and on the other hand, we need the right atmosphere."

US President Donald Trump has been increasingly critical, saying last week he had seen evidence linking Covid-19 to a maximum-security virology lab in Wuhan and threatening new trade tariffs.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday renewed criticism of Beijing’s handling of the outbreak.

"China could have spared the world a descent into global economic malaise. They had a choice but instead – instead - China covered up the outbreak in Wuhan," Pompeo told reporters.

"China is still refusing to share the information we need to keep people safe," Pompeo added. -France 24

This past weekend, Secretary Pompeo said there was "enormous evidence" that the coronavirus escaped from the Wuhan lab. On Wednesday, China said Pompeo "doesn't have any" evidence.

Donald Trump: Coronavirus Worse Attack than Pearl Harbor, 9/11

President Donald Trump said Wednesday at the White House that the attack from the coronavirus was worse than Pearl Harbor or 9/11.

“This is really the worst attack we’ve ever had,” Trump said on Wednesday. “This is worse than Pearl Harbor. This is worse than the World Trade Center. There’s never been an attack like this.”

The president said it was an unfortunate war, suggesting that China could have prevented it.

“I view the invisible enemy as a war,” he said, referring to the coronavirus. “I don’t like how it got here because it could have been stopped.”

President Trump noted that the death toll was already far bigger that either Pearl Harbor or 9/11, having already passed 70,000. He also said that he believed the death tolls, despite questions of whether they were inflated.

“In many ways, it’s a tougher enemy,” Trump said about the virus. “You know we do very well against the visible enemies.”

The president spoke to reporters in the Oval Office on Wednesday after he signed a proclamation to honor nurses nationwide, thanking them for serving on the front lines by caring for patients infected by the coronavirus.

“America’s nurses are waging a war against the invisible enemy,” he said.”They’re fighting on the frontlines of the battle risking their health to save lives of fellow citizens.”

Sen. Rick Scott pledges to hold 'Communist China' and WHO accountable for coronavirus fallout with congressional probe

During an exclusive interview with Fox News on Wednesday, Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., promised to discover the truth behind the origins of the novel coronavirus and to hold China and the World Health Organization (WHO) accountable for their mishandling of the outbreak.

Scott, who serves on the Senate's Homeland Security Committee, discussed the congressional probe he will be leading and pledged to come up with answers that will help guide governmental decisionmaking long into the future.

"We have failed to call out China for who they are – call out these international organizations for who they are, and you see Democrats out there trying to defend the WHO. It's the craziest thing in the world," he said. "This is a group that said there was no local transmission when they knew there was. So we're doing an investigation. I'm on the Homeland Security Committee, so I'm going to lead the investigation of the WHO. We're going to find out what was their pandemic plan, did they follow the pandemic plan, and when did they get different information from what they put out."

The WHO has been criticized for being an apologist for the Chinese government during the pandemic and faced backlash over a January tweet that cited China officials who claimed there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission of COVID-19.

Scott claimed the agency is in China's pocket and said the U.S. has failed to put adequate pressure on its leaders. He then pledged to discover if the virus was created in a lab, how it spread, and which key players are responsible for the hundreds of thousands of deaths that have occurred around the world.

"[The WHO] does not have our interests at heart. They're just a parrot for the Chinese Communist Party," he said. "And it doesn't appear that anything we're doing has had any impact on the WHO yet. They haven't changed anything. I don't think Tedros [Adhanom Ghebreyesus] feels any pressure.

"From what I understand as I've been learning more about the WHO, they clearly had technical information that they did not put out publicly," Scott added. "We'll figure out whether the virus was created, whether it was released. Over time we will figure that out. But the reality is, whether it came out of the wet market or whether it came out of the lab, the worst thing is they intentionally did not tell the world and look at what's happened."

Gov. Cuomo: 'Shocking' 66% of new COVID-19 hospitalizations in NY are people who had been staying home

'They're not working. They're not traveling…They were predominantly at home.'

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) disclosed Wednesday that a recent survey found a "shocking" 66% of the coronavirus patients recently admitted to hospitals in the state are people who became infected despite largely remaining in the their homes during the ongoing outbreak.

What are the details?

The governor said during a press conference that more than 100 hospitals across New York participated in a survey involving roughly 1,000 patients, and the data showed that two-thirds of new admissions were individuals who had sheltered-in-place without much venturing out, CNBC reported.

Cuomo pulled up a chart compiled by state health officials, explaining, "If you notice, 18% of the people came from nursing homes, less than 1% came from jail or prison, 2% came from the homeless population, 2% from other congregate facilities, but 66% of the people were at home, which is shocking to us."

He continued, "This is a surprise: Overwhelmingly, the people were at home. We thought maybe they were taking public transportation, and we've taken special precautions on public transportation, but actually no, because these people were literally at home."

"They're not working. They're not traveling," Cuomo added, according to NBC News. "We were thinking that maybe we were going to find a higher percent of essential employees who were getting sick because they were going to work — that these may be nurses, doctors, transit workers. That's not the case. They were predominantly at home."
