Pretty sure that this Anon is not the only one tired of being told, "We must protect the Institutions", "There are many good people that work for (name corrupted federal agency of your choice)".

Fire them all. Close departments and consolidate others. The remaining jobs should be reopened to genuine competitive process.

The SES needs to go. That entire system is so corrupt and the payscales, "bonuses" and kickbacks they pay each other is the antithesis of "transparency" and "honest government".
