The Old Guard is an upcoming American superhero film directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. Based on the comic book of the same name, the film will star Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The story focuses on a pack of mercenaries who are all centuries-old immortals able to heal from any wound. Just as they find another immortal has "awakened", they realize someone is onto their secret and have to fight for their freedom.
