these train and hire programs at the big trucking companies like swift and snieder are nothing but scams. you're locked into a contract for a period of time. if you want out of it you have to pay for your training. so when they provide you with only 1/3 of the miles your allowed to work every week and your not making any money, theres nothing you can do. stay at your shitty low paying job, or be forced to pay 1000s of dollars to quit and go somewhere else.
trucking as a viable income earning carreer is almost dead. its overwhelmed with poor training, poor regulation, poor public relations, and the smallest profit margins of any major industry.
