I got a freezer full of wild piglets for roasting, hog backstrap and other bits, 2 gator tails, and we just bought a yearling from the rancher across the road.
We have a bone saw and a picnic table and a hose - cutting up a yearling does take a day, but with 2-3 people, not even a whole day.
We are going fishing again this weekend - to load up on perch and catfish…
It really sucks to be reliant on the grocery supply chain for meat.
But it sucks even more if people are actually BELIEVING this entire coronahoax and staying indoors. That isn't self reliance - it's government reliance.
