A convicted sex offender has stepped down as partner of the British venture-capital fund he helped create in a bid to ensure its survival.
A year after Stefan Glaenzer co-founded Passion Capital in 2011, he was arrested and convicted of assault on the London subway system. He has said he was severely impaired by cannabis during the incident, when he rubbed his groin against a female passenger. Last year, a Bloomberg Businessweek story questioned whether the U.K. government would continue investing in Glaenzer’s fund after heightened concerns around sexual misconduct by powerful people in technology.
April 5 (UPI) – While announcing that its chief financial officer has resigned, Canadian energy company Husky said it was committed to low-cost growth in production.
Husky Energy announced that Chief Financial Officer Jon McKenzie has resigned, effective Thursday. CEO Rob Peabody said the company was still committed to its targets for the year.

THREE DEAD IN LUMPKIN COUNTY MURDER-SUICIDE
Police believe it's a case of domestic violence that began in Florida and ended this morning in north Georgia.

LUMPKIN COUNTY, Ga. - Two women were shot and killed Thursday morning near the Dawson County line by a male suspect who then took his own life, according to police.
The Lumpkin County sheriff's department were called to a scene off Highway 9 South near Pink Williams Road around 8:30 am to reports of gunshots. Police found all three dead on the scene.
Police are classifying the incident as a case of domestic violence that began somewhere in Florida. They believe the women were fleeing the man and were hiding from him before they were found.
Police have not released the names of the victims, nor if there were any witnesses.
In a Facebook post, Lumpkin County Sheriff Stacy Jarrard is asking for prayers “for the victims, family members involved and all the first responders.”
