Monthly testing of tornado sirens begins in April in Kent County.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Across Kent County on Friday, April 6, residents should hear the wail of a tornado siren test beginning at noon.

The monthly tests begin this week and continue on the first Friday of each month through October, the Kent County Sheriff's Office announced in a press release.
