Damning? I dont know. Maybe. Or he was in on it. But. It also would have been convenient for him if it had worked out differently than it has. So either he is in on the whole thing- with Trumo - and this set them up, or he was in on it with them and he is a made man.
When I watch/listen to him speak, I dont get sincerity from him. But he could just be playing his part
