SpouseAnon and I did this in December 2019. When the 2020 Primary Sample Ballots came, Spouse was R, Mine was Peace & Freedom - WTF?! been an R since 2009. So I had to re-register. For March 24 Primary, at check in with a "poll worker," my ID was"flagged" (YES! They asked for my ID!) and I was given a big pink envelope and was guided to ipad machine with the poll lady standing next to me the whole time. no curtain, no privacy. Last week, I get a thing in the mail saying my provo ballot was considered "clean." and "counted." When we vote in person in Nov. at "selected" locations, there will be lines as long a Trump Rally, so bring a sturdy chair, 'cos they won't make it easy.
