It's hard to assess the damage.
Someone was about to testify to Mueller, who may change their testimony, or decline to testify, now that it is revealed that POTUS is not a criminal target of Mueller's investigation.
The problem is that the arrogance of the left can be broken when they are scared. They love to tell us we are conspiracy theorists and dismiss our arguments. Makes them feel good and makes them confident in acting as if we are wrong.
But when something like this happens… And they are forced to be a bit more conservative of thought… Then we come back to the above problem.
Who might testify on the record differently to Mueller, now that they know POTUS is not a criminal target? The average anti-trumper doesn't give a shit about it… But the lawyers and the people who may very well end up in gitmo will think differently.
Of course… Why did Q then ask us about Mueller's interview in the first place and bring up his service history?
The only thing I can think of is to blunt the attempt made by whomever leaked that POTUS wasn't a criminal target. Obviously, we would pick up on the theory and float it - even taunt liberals with it. So it wasn't a big secret that something was off about the Mueller investigation to begin with.
But… Someone thought they could shift the course of things by leaking. Exposed themselves… And probably didn't have much of an effect in the long run.
