Just my take, of course. For all I know, the whole thing could be staged well beyond what I imagine. People were fooled by "reality" television for quite some time, and by then became too in love with the program to say goodbye, so they just continued to accept the fiction and lost all connection to actual "reality", kind of like how I've already forgotten how this comment relates to Q posts.
